FRESNO, Calif. – A Sikh man waiting for a plane at Fresno Yosemite International Airport has been stabbed in an unprovoked attack.
The victim was treated at the airport and boarded his flight.
Police Lt. Tom Rowe tells the Fresno Bee ( http://bit.ly/sMR9Ko) that a 26-year-old man approached the victim and stabbed him the upper torso at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. No words were exchanged before the attack.
The attacker, whose name hasn’t been released, ran but was arrested and booked for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon.
